Here at D&M we pride ourselves on our approachability and willingness to answer clients questions and concerns. For your convenience, here are some frequently asked questions we tend to get:

Where are you located?
-We are currently located in Edmonton, AB. For further info, as well as our shop hours, refer to our contact page.
What is your hourly rate?
-We charge an hourly rate of $130/hr. Our minimum charge is $80.
Do you charge to touch up a tattoo?
-We charge a fee of $20 to touch up tattoos we have done. This covers the cost of supplies.
How much does a piercing cost?
- Standard piercing usually cost $40. Exotic piercings are usually $75. All prices include jewelry.
I have a pre-existing tattoo that I am unhappy with, can it be covered/fixed?
-We are able to cover and fix tattoos. It is best to first talk with one of our artists to best determine what will and will not work as a cover up or whether or your existing tattoo can be fixed.
How long of a waiting period is there to get a tattoo?
-Generally we don't book more than a week or so in advance. This is, of course, subject to change.
How old do you have to be to get tattooed or pierced?
-When getting tattooed, you need to be 16 with parental consent, 18 without. To get pierced you need to at least 14 with parental consent, 16 without. You must be at least 18 to get any exotic (nipple, bridge etc) or micro dermal piercing's.
Are children allowed in the shop?
-Yes, provided he/she is well behaved. Cross-contamination may become an issue if a child touches any equipment, needles, a clients open skin, etc.
Are You health board approved?
-Yes, we go above and beyond health board requirements. We insure all equipment is properly wrapped, cleaned, sterilized, and, where applicable, disposed of. We are also willing to answer any and all questions and address any concerns you may have regarding such things.
